Ms Kwak Se-won, a freshman student in the DIS, has won the Gold Prize in Dongseo University's third annual essay contest (in Korean) on the subject of "A Course I'd Like to Take Again." The DIS would like to congratulate Ms Kwak on her performance!
Ms Kwak will be awarded the prize in a formal ceremony on July 22nd.
This is the second time in 2010 that a big prize has gone to the DIS, sophomores Pak Sang-yop and Pak So-jeong having won the (Korean language) Debate Contest last May. We are especially proud that even though our classes are all in English, our students excel in Korean-language competitions as well. |
